REAL TALK About The Business Of Being A Creative Freelancer
May 24 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pmFree
A free, live online meeting with other creative freelancers and solopreneurs, lead by experienced facilitator, Aura McKay.
Registration form at the bottom of the page.
REAL TALK is an opportunity to be real about the highs and lows of being a creative services provider working in the gig economy.
And for discovering real solutions for the challenges of creative entrepreneurship.
Don’t you wish you had someone to talk to about the reality of running a creative services business?
Wouldn’t it be great to get a qualified perspective on what’s holding you back or tripping you up….instead of random advice from social media?
What’s missing for many creative solopreneurs is a place for real conversations and support on the things that matter like:
💥 finding clients
💥 predictable income
💥 work/life time management
💥 closing sales
Feel less alone in your struggle when you hear how others have conquered something similar.
Learn from the mistakes of others and get inspired by ideas on how to shift your own challenges.
First Part – Welcome & Introductions
We start with a guided networking session where you can grow your confidence in introducing yourself, practice networking techniques that get real results, and connect with likeminded creatives with similar business challenges – just like other MeetUp & networking events.
BUT….this is not your typical sit around in a meeting room with no idea what to say or how to participate.
As a trained and experienced online facilitator for group meetings and masterminds, I will set us up for success with clear instructions and plenty of opportunities to practice.
Second Part – Overcoming Challenges
After identifying a common obstacle, I will lead a focused discussion to share wisdom, techniques, experiences, resources, and make contributions to each other so that we all walk away with an ah-ha or a plan of action.
This meeting is interactive and full of connection. The value is in attending LIVE. You will get reminders (check your email) and make sure you save the date in your calendar.
